As Kit Cutters enters an exciting new chapter, I’m honored to introduce myself—Vic Goodman, the new owner and operations lead at Kit Cutters LLC.
For those of you who have been with us for years, you may recognize my name. I’ve been part of this journey since the very beginning of our revival in 2020. Alongside Bob Martin and Jon Johnson, I helped transport and reestablish Kit Cutters after acquiring it from founder Joe Hrkel. Since then, I’ve been involved in nearly every part of the process—from loading and organizing plans to helping with laser-cut production.
Now, as I step into the lead role, I want to personally share my commitment to each and every one of you.
Upholding the Legacy
Kit Cutters was built on a foundation of craftsmanship, accuracy, and respect for the builder community. Those standards were set—and consistently upheld—by Bob Martin and his partners. I want to be clear:those values aren’t going anywhere.
Bob will continue to work alongside me as a consultant, helping train our team and lending his expertise to ensure our kits stay as precise and reliable as ever.
Taking It to the Next Level
While honoring our past, I’m also passionate about pushing Kit Cutters forward. My focus is on:
Modernizing our systemsfor faster turnaround and smoother ordering
Expanding our catalogwith new short kits, including rare and legacy designs
Enhancing customer experiencewith improved communication and transparency
Staying true to our rootsby supporting giant-scale and competition-level builders
Kit Cutters is more than a company—it’s a community. And my goal is to continue serving that community with the quality, care, and enthusiasm you deserve.
